This unique Guatemalan Blue Jadeite Jade displays a blend of bluish-greens in a Mayan-themed hatchet pendant — bold, earthy, and unlike anything else.

Each pendant is carefully hand-cut from a single piece of Guatemalan jadeite, a stone prized for both its beauty and cultural legacy. The "blue" variety reveals deep hues of blue and green — a rare and stunning natural variety of Guatemalan jadeite. The stone’s natural translucency allows the colors to glow when backlit.

Ethically sourced real snake vertebrae, Guatemalan jade, and lava rock beads accent the entire necklace. The snake vertebrae are sourced from an American snake farm, from reptiles which have passed away from natural causes. Each bone has been sterilized and bleached.

Handmade in the heart of Ohio, this pendant is shaped and polished in our cozy home workshop using traditional methods. Our jade is sourced from the Motagua River Valley — the same region where ancient Maya artisans once carved jade with stone tools. No heavy machinery or modern extraction methods were used — each piece is hand-gathered with care and respect for the land. Every curve and polish is done by hand — no CNC or automation, just time, focus, and intention.
