Each piece is hand-cut from a single slice of Guatemalan jadeite, a stone celebrated for its beauty, depth, and cultural heritage. The "Princesa" color displays highly translucent light blue/green jadeite with darker streaks. Its tight crystal structure allows this stone to be cut thin for a strong and lightweight earring.
Shaped and polished entirely by hand in our small Ohio workshop using traditional lapidary methods. The jade is respectfully gathered from the Motagua River Valley — the same region where ancient Maya artisans once carved their jade masterpieces. No heavy machinery, no modern extraction — just careful hand-collection, patience, and intention. Every contour, bevel, and polish is done slowly by hand, giving each piece its soft, organic flow.
